We will tour one of the most magical places in the world. We will talk about geology, human settlement, the importance of place, cultures and its current state - the impact of humans on its delicate ecosystem, nature, effects and changes.


We will visit the following sites: 


Masada - an architectural masterpiece built by King Herod. The place that tells King Herod's story and the story of the last resistance in Judea after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem.


Ein Gedi or Nahal Arugot - a magical oasis that emerges from the cliffs. Enjoying the water, the animals and the greenery in the middle of the desert.


Qumran - the site where the dead sea scrolls were discovered - is the most important archaeological finding of the 20th century.


Throughout the trip, we will stop at observation points. We will discuss the state of the Dead Sea today and the various factors affecting its retreat.
